1. Nebraska RB Ameer Abdullah: The Nebraska running back put on a performance that earned him the game's MVP award. Abdullah showcased speed, quickness, agility and toughness, leading his North team to a 34-13 win over the South team.
Abdullah's pass-catching skills were also on display throughout the game, including a 20-yard reception, followed by a crushing hit against the defender at the end of the play. He finished the game with seven carries for 73 yards and four receptions for 40 yards.
"It's definitely a blessing, being originally from Birmingham, Alabama, going off to Nebraska, coming back for my last collegiate game technically, it's like a movie for me," Abdullah said. "You could write a book on it. It's an awesome feeling, just coming back and playing on home soil again."
2. TCU CB Kevin White: The star cornerback continued his great week of Senior Bowl practices by finishing Saturday's game with two tackles and one interception. All week long, he was in the correct position against some of the best wide receivers in the country. While at TCU, he embraced covering the opposition's best wide receivers in 2014, and his confidence showed on Saturday night.
"You want to see a guy check every box throughout the week, and he did that," NFL Draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah said. "Could he carry it over to the game? He's been outstanding, got his hands on a ball. Kevin White is definitely playing well."
3. Iowa DT Carl Davis: Named the Senior Bowl's Most Outstanding Practice Player, Davis' NFL-worthy play continued Saturday night, disrupting the pocket and stuffing the run on a consistent basis. Despite just recording one assist in the stat column, his presence was more than enough to help lead the North to victory. Throughout the week, he played every snap, showed athleticism and likely elevated his draft stock.
"By his play this week, including the game, he is one of up to seven or eight players that could be considered first-round picks," NFL Draft analyst Mike Mayock said.
4. Utah DE Nate Orchard: Driven to prove his week of Senior Bowl practices wasn't a fluke, Orchard again showed speed with a great burst off the edge in Saturday's win. NFL scouts will like to see the versatility he showed in the past week in Mobile, also getting reps at outside linebacker. He finished Saturday's game with five tackles, two quarterback hurries and one tackle for loss.
5. Kansas State WR Tyler Lockett:Despite a 34-13 loss, Lockett was making plays throughout the entire game. His key block in the first quarter allowed Northern Iowa running back David Johnson to get into the end zone, capping a 19-yard run. Later, Lockett showcased his speed, beating the coverage and drawing the pass interference penalty, leading to a first-and-goal situation.
In the third quarter, facing a 3rd-and-14, Lockett hauled in a 23-yard reception down the right sideline, showing phenomenal footwork, tapping both feet down for the catch. He finished the night with three catches for 48 yards, along with two rushes for 7 yards. The former Kansas State wide receiver also logged one kickoff return for 22 yards.
* Honorable Mention: Yale FB Tyler Varga added to the North's rushing attack, finishing with four carries for 31 yards and two touchdowns, while fellow North teammate, Minnesota RB David Cobb, added 11 carries for 78 yards and one touchdown in the 34-13 win.
