FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – Falcons coach Dan Quinn said rookie linebacker Duke Riley will undergo an MRI on his knee. Riley suffered the injury on Sunday night when the Falcons fell to the New England Patriots, 23-7.
Riley, Atlanta's second-round draft pick, has served as the Falcons' starting weakside linebacker. When Riley went down, Kemal Ishmael took over and recorded nine tackles.
The severity of Riley's injury has yet to be determined as Atlanta's first injury report of the week will be released on Wednesday.
