WR Julio Jones returned to practice on Saturday in a limited capacity and said he will play on Monday night.
Jones injured his calf last Sunday against the Raiders and was unable to practice on Thursday and Friday. The All-Pro wide receiver is officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report.
"Yes, yes I'll play Monday night," Jones said. "I wouldn't chance it if I didn't [feel like I was ready]. If I felt like I was going to overcompensate or something else was going to get tore up or it was going to get worse or anything like that. I'm good, I've been getting great treatment, therapy and rest - it's the key."
Head coach Dan Quinn confirmed that first-round draft pick, Keanu Neal, will get his first action of the regular season. Neal underwent knee surgery after Atlanta's third preseason game and has been limited all week.
"He had an excellent week, he's fully cleared," Quinn said. "He's another one who I was pleased with the work he put in the rehab. And now that's carried over onto the field. We are expecting him to get his first action, and we know he's excited."
The Falcons will be without rookie linebacker De'Vondre Campbell for the second straight week as he is recovering from an ankle injury.
