FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons announced on Tuesday afternoon that cornerback Jalen Collins has been waived.
Collins is coming off a 10-game suspension for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances and has not seen any on-field action for the Falcons this season.
A second-round draft pick by the Falcons in 2015, Collins played in 24 games over his two seasons with the organization; he started eight of those games, including the Super Bowl. As a member of the Falcons, Collins registered 39 tackles, 10 pass defenses and two interceptions.
