As part of the Atlanta Falcons Coach of the Week Program presented by Nike powered by AJC Varsity, the NFL and Atlanta Falcons will recognize eight (8) head high school varsity tackle football coaches across Georgia for their hard work and dedication to making a difference in student-athletes lives on and off the field. Each winning head coach will receive a $1,000 grant for their program, recognition from the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution along with additional special events.

Each winning head coach will receive a $1,000 grant for their program, recognition from the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution along with additional special events.

Over the past six years, the Atlanta Falcons and The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation have worked tirelessly to elevate the sport of girls flag football to be sanctioned across the United States to promote gender equality in sports offered at the high school level. It has become one of the fastest growing sports and other states are following the Falcons' lead.

The Atlanta Falcons Youth Football Camps will be held throughout the year all over the state of Georgia.

The largest flag football program in the nation that offers a fun, non-contact football experience for boys and girls ages 5 – 17.
