Get Trained. Be Prepared. Save a Life.

The Atlanta Falcons and Emory Healthcare, the Official Team Healthcare Provider of the Atlanta Falcons, are teaming up to offer a free Hands-Only CPR and AED training session on Saturday, September 7 for the community to help ensure you have the proper training to respond to medical emergencies.

The event, called "1 Trained at Every Game," is designed to prevent deaths from sudden cardiac arrest, a leading cause of death among adults and student athletes nationwide. Emory Healthcare will lead the training.

Training will be conducted in a festive and engaging atmosphere at the Home Depot Backyard. The day will include raffles for game tickets and signed Falcons gear, and appearances by former Falcons players, Freddie the Falcon and the Falcons' cheer team, as well as other activities related to CPR and heart health.

To efficiently train attendees, trainings will be offered in a wave registration system in which you and/or your group can register for a training session using assigned time-slots between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Fans are encouraged to park on the top floors of the Silver Deck located at 1414 Andrew Young International Blvd. Parking Validations will be provided to fans who park here and complete their training. You must be physically able to receive training while in a kneeling position on the ground with a CPR mannequin.

This is a free event, but registration is required. Hands-only CPR and AED training take approximately 60 minutes.

*Limited spots will be available for each session.

*You must be able to physically perform the training while kneeling on the ground. If you are unable to do so, please reach out to Brandy Dodge at brandy.dodge@emoryhealthcare.org to make arrangements for another session

*Please note that all weekly programs at the Home Depot Backyard are held outside.

*If you are unable to attend, please release your tickets using your confirmation email so that others can attend.

*Parking vouchers will be provided for the Silver Deck.

*Groups are welcome.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Free parking is available at the Silver Deck at a first-come-first-serve basis located at 1414 Andrew Young International Blvd. Attendees are encouraged to park on the top floors and exit towards the event from the top level. Parking Validations will be provided to fans who park here and complete their training.

Buses are welcome. Buses should enter the Home Depot Backyard entrance for drop off.

Rideshare: Guests are encouraged to arrive at the Vine City MARTA Station and use the crosswalk or pedestrian bridge to walk across Northside Drive to Gate 1.

MARTA: The preferred station for arrival and departure is the Vine City Station. This station will drop you off just across the street from Gate 1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Use the crosswalk or pedestrian bridge at Northside Drive

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING AND WEAR?

All equipment needed will be provided at the event. Wear comfortable clothing and ideally footwear with rubber soles.
