Following the Falcons' win/loss against the Carolina Panthers, and the completion of the NFL's late afternoon slate of games in Week 18, Atlanta's draft spot for the 2025 NFL Draft has been set. The Falcons finished with an 8-9 record and now hold the No. 15 spot in April's draft.

With only the Sunday night game left to play, the first 18 spots for next year's draft have been set. The remaining 14 spots will be determined by the results of the playoffs.

This is only the second time in franchise history the Falcons have had the No. 15 pick in the draft. The first time came in 1972, and Atlanta used that pick to select All-American defensive back Clarence Ellis out of Notre Dame. Ellis started all but one game at free safety for the Falcons from 1972-74, recording eight interceptions and three fumble recoveries. He retired as a member of the Denver Broncos in 1975 but eventually returned to the city of Atlanta to work for the Dekalb County School District.

The Indianapolis Colts held the No. 15 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and they used that pick to select UCLA pass rusher Laiatu Latu. The former Bruin was a popular mock draft pick for the Falcons last offseason, and he had a decent rookie year with 12 quarterback hits, four sacks, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
