The Atlanta Falcons today announced they have signed 24 college free agents, including K Casey Barth, LB Joplo Bartu, FB Devonte Campbell, LB Nick Clancy, QB Seth Doege, WR Rashad Evans, FB Deon Goggins, G Theo Goins, DE Cam Henderson, DT Neal Huynh, WR Darius Johnson, T Terren Jones, WR Martel Moore, DT Adam Replogle, RB Donald Russell, S Troy Sanders, T Alec Savoie, T Ryan Schraeder, P Sean Sellwood, C Matt Smith, CB Momo Thomas, DE Brandon Thurmond, RB Ronnie Wingo, and LB Paul Worrilow.
Barth, 5-11, 188 pounds, set school records at the University of North Carolina for consecutive extra points and career field goals made during his four seasons with the Tar Heels. He earned honorable mention All-ACC honors in 2010 and was a second-team All-ACC performer in 2009.
Bartu, 6-2, 230 pounds, earned All-WAC second team honors after posting 95 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks. He closed out his collegiate career with 62 tackles in his final four games, including 17 tackles and four sacks in a win over New Mexico State.
Campbell, 6-2, 255 pounds, played in 27 games with four starts in his career at the University of Maryland. He caught 10 passes for 84 yards with two touchdowns for the Terps.
Clancy, 6-3, 232 pounds, played in 42 games and collared 187 tackles (109 solo) with 12 passes defensed and seven tackles for loss at Boston College. He led the ACC and ranked fourth in the nation with 145 tackles as a senior in 2012.
Doege, 6-1, 197 pounds, was named the MVP of the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas after leading Texas Tech to a win completing 31 of 45 passes for 271 yards with one touchdown. He ranks third in Red Raider history with 8,646 passing yards, 69 touchdowns, 1187 pass attempts, and 819 completions.
Evans, 5-9, 187 pounds, caught 138 passes for 1,321 yards and 12 touchdowns in 44 games at Fresno State. He also averaged 10.1 yards per return on 53 career punt returns with two touchdowns.
Goggins, 6-1, 272 pounds, saw action in 25 games at defensive tackle for Syracuse. He notched 96 tackles (45 solo) with 16 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in two seasons at Syracuse after spending the 2009 season at Cerritos Community College and the 2008 season at LA Harbor College.
Goins, 6-4, 317 pounds, was an All-Conference USA honorable mention performer at the University of Central Florida. He helped anchor and offensive line that led the Knights to their second bowl win in school history at the 2012 Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl.
Henderson, 6-5, 245 pounds, played in 25 games in two seasons at the University of Central Florida logging 61 tackles (33 solo) with six tackles for loss, two sacks, and one fumble recovery. Prior to arriving at UCF, he played at Navarro Junior College.
Huynh, 6-4, 315 pounds, collared 29 tackles (10 solo), eight tackles for loss, and two sacks for the Ohio Bobcats in 2012. He was a key cog in the Bobcats defensive line during his four seasons at Ohio.
Johnson, 5-10, 175 pounds, was a first team All-Conference USA performer at Southern Methodist University. He was named the MVP in back-to-back bowl games for the Mustangs, including the 2011 BVAA Compass Bowl after posting seven catches for 120 yards with one touchdown in a win over Pittsburgh.
Jones, 6-7, 341 pounds, was a three-time All-SWAC performer and an AFCA All-American following his senior season at Alabama State University. He started every game at left tackle in 2012 helping the Hornets post more than 400 yards of total offense four times and score at least 30 points in six consecutive games.
Moore, 6-0, 183 pounds, closed out his career at Northern Illinois ranking second in school history with 2,544 receiving yards and 24 touchdown catches. He also ranks fourth with 178 career receptions and earned first team All-MAC honors as a senior.
Replogle, 6-3, 294 pounds, set a University of Indiana school record by starting the final 47 games of his career. He posted 184 tackles (95 solo), 28.5 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery during his four seasons with the Hoosiers.
Russell, 5-11, 212 pounds, was an all-conference running back at Georgia State University. In two seasons, he rushed for 1,412 yards with 12 touchdowns making him the Panthers all-time leading rusher.
Sanders, 6-0, 214 pounds, was a three-year starter at cornerback and safety at Appalachian State. In 2011, he earned second-team all-Southern Conference honors from the league's coaches and media after starting all 12 games and notching 79 tackles and two interceptions.
Savoie, 6-7, 322 pounds, was an All-Southland Conference performer at McNeese State. He anchored an offensive line that allowed the Cowboys to rush for 2,219 yards with 20 touchdowns in 2012 en route to a 7-4 record in 2012.
Schraeder, 6-7, 300 pounds, anchored the offensive line at Valdosta State for two seasons after earning All-America honors at Butler Community College. He helped the Grizzlies to the NJCAA National Championship game in his final season at Butler and earned All-America honors in 2011 at Valdosta.
Sellwood, 6-3, 203 yards, played in all 51 games from 2009-12 at Utah, serving as the punter and holder. He averaged 43.8 yards per kick on 190 punts with 54 being downed inside the 20, 20 touchbacks, and 81 fair catches. He also booted 51 punts of 50-plus yards in his career.
Smith, 6-4, 296 pounds, anchored the offensive line at the University of Kentucky for three seasons as the starting center. He helped the offense rush for 1,944 yards with 13 touchdowns while passing for 2,115 yards with 13 touchdowns in 2012.
Thomas, 5-9, 185 pounds, started 35 of 42 games at cornerback Colorado State. He logged 151 tackles (99 solo) with 15 passes defensed, five tackles for loss, and five interceptions during his career with the Rams.
Thurmond, 6-2, 260 pounds, paced the Arkansas-Pine Bluff defense with 70 tackles (41 solo), 25 tackles for loss, 17.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble in 2012. He is originally from Augusta, Georgia where he attended Laney High School.
Wingo, 6-3, 231 pounds, saw action in 49 games at the University of Arkansas. He rushed 206 times for 1,089 yards with eight touchdowns during his career with the Razorbacks.
Worrilow, 6-0, 230 pounds, was a four-year starter at linebacker for the University of Delaware. He led the Blue Hens with 107 total tackles (57 solo) in 2012 while adding nine tackles for loss and three sacks.
