Falcons Bring Back Veteran Linebacker Mike Peterson

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed linebacker Mike Peterson.

Peterson, 6-1, 226 pounds, played in 15 games for the Falcons in 2011 with five starts. He totaled 27 tackles (16 solo) while adding one interception and two passes defensed. The veteran linebacker has totaled 1,611 tackles (953 solo), 21.5 sacks, 19 interceptions, 52 passes defensed, nine forced fumbles and nine fumble recoveries during his 13-year NFL career.
