The Atlanta Falcons released their list of inactive players ahead of Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals, and starting cornerback Desmond Trufant was on it.
Coach Dan Quinn said Friday that Trufant would be out for this game due to a toe injury after not practicing all week, and that was confirmed Sunday. Trufant isn't the only cornerback who will be out for Atlanta as Blidi Wreh-Wilson will also miss the action. It remains to be seen how exactly the Falcons will deploy their remaining cornerbacks, but rookies Kendall Sheffield and Jordan Miller may get their first chance at significant action.
