FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons had some injury concerns heading into their week of preparation for the New York Giants on Monday night, but it appears they will have some key players available.
Coach Dan Quinn said Saturday that he was optimistic that receivers Calvin Ridley and Mohamed Sanu and defensive linemen Grady Jarrett and Derrick Shelby would be ready to play Monday night.
"I had to see it with my eyes, but I had a sense that they would be ready for this one," Quinn said. "Having the extra day probably helped the receivers more than anybody. Because I think Grady and Derrick were on the trajectory, but then when Mo and Cal got banged up in the game, having the extra day this week was exactly what we needed."
The only player who has officially been ruled out for the Falcons is kicker Matt Bryant. Atlanta signed Giorgio Tavecchio to fill in for Bryant this week.

The Giants have ruled out wide receiver Jawill Davis, who suffered a concussion in practice this week. The only players who have been listed as questionable for New York this week are guard Patrick Omameh and receiver Russell Shepard.
