MINNEAPOLIS — Falcons cornerback Mike Hughes is active for the team ahead of Atlanta's Week 14 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium. Hughes was listed as questionable on Friday's game report.
The veteran cornerback has been dealing with a neck injury throughout the last few weeks, having missed the Falcons' last two games. He had started every game opposite A.J. Terrell to the point of his injury, with Clark Phillips III filling in for Hughes in his absence. Despite his return, though, something to monitor as kickoff arrives is how the start — and subsequent snap counts — between the two shakes out.
As a reminder, the Falcons had previously ruled out rookies Ruke Orhorhoro and Casey Washington. Both were downgraded to out Saturday. Orhorhoro returned to practice for the first time this week after being on injured reserve for the last month with an ankle injury. Washington was listed as having a concussion when he was downgraded to out Saturday.
