FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Dan Quinn told "The Morning Show with John and Hugh" on 92.9 The Game Wednesday morning that starting cornerback Robert Alford and kicker Matt Bryant will get reps in practice this week leading up the to Falcons' game against the Cleveland Browns, albeit in a limited capacity.
Quinn said that Bryant, who has missed the past two games with a hamstring injury, will test his leg during Thursday's practice, which is the day he usually gets the most work during the week.
As for Alford, who missed the Falcons' win against the Redskins due to an ankle injury, Quinn said he would get a few practice reps in this week.
"He'll get started in practice this week and then we'll have a better assessment after we go through a few days," Quinn said of Alford. "We'll just take him through the week and see where he's at, but the fact that he's out and will get some practice reps, I think that's an excellent sign."
