Falcons waive cornerback Deji Olatoye

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons have waived cornerback Deji Olatoye.

Olatoye played in both games this season on special teams for the Falcons, after seeing time in five games in 2016. Atlanta (2-0) originally signed Olatoye to the practice squad in September of last season, before promoting him to active roster in late November.

Atlanta now has five cornerbacks on its active roster: Desmond Trufant, Robert Alford, C.J. Goodwin, Brian Poole and Blidi Wreh-Wilson.
