NFL.com put together a brief list of the five best old school NFL uniforms that need to return full time, a la the Buffalo Bills' decision to return to their throwback uniforms as their home and away threads.
The old Los Angeles Rams uniforms top the list, but the Atlanta Falcons' red-on-red uniforms of the 1970s and 80s receive an honorable mention on the list.
The Falcons have played in red home jerseys on black helmets and white pants during the Mike Smith era, and the Falcons' current throwbacks include black jerseys on black helmets, so red-on-red isn't remotely in the Falcons' current uniform closet.
