FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Falcons got back on the practice fields on Wednesday and rookie linebacker Duke Riley was unable to practice with a knee injury.
Riley will miss the rest of the week, according to head coach Dan Quinn. The team signed veteran linebacker Sean Weatherspoon for depth at linebacker with Riley sidelined.
Running back Tevin Coleman (knee), linebacker Deion Jones (ankle) and defensive lineman Courtney Upshaw (ankle) were limited in practice.
Linebacker Jordan Tripp remains in the league's concussion protocol and did not participate.
The Falcons take on the New York Jets (3-4) at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
