A few notable players were sidelined at Wednesday's practice as the Falcons begin preparations for their upcoming road matchup in New York.
WR Julio Jones was unable to participate due to a sore hamstring and LB O'Brien Schofield was held out with tightness in his hip. Head coach Dan Quinn downplayed the severity of these injuries and anticipates the return of both players to practice this week.
Jones carried a heavy work load on Monday as he caught nine passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns in Atlanta's win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
DE Malliciah Goodman (elbow), WR Devin Hester (toe), and LB Brooks Reed (groin) also did not participate in practice. T Jake Matthews (back) and DE Adrian Clayborn (thumb) were held to limited participation.
