David Oldham, 53, won $500,000 on the Georgia Lottery instant game Atlanta Falcons $500,000 Score.
Yogi Food Mart, located at 2403 Moody Road in Warner Robins, Ga., sold the top prize ticket. Oldham was in Warner Robins with his wife, who was there on business.
"I was outside at the gas pump," he said. "I was in shock. I couldn't believe my eyes at the time."
Oldham works at Ready Pak Produce in Jackson, Ga. He plans to invest the prize for his retirement.
