Tialavea Signed to Practice Squad, Jensen Waived

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed tight end D.J. Tialavea to the practice squad and have waived tight end Marcel Jensen.

Tialavea, 6-4, 260 pounds, was originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as a college free agent out of Utah State in 2014. He also spent time as a member of the Buffalo Bills practice squad last season. Tialavea spent time with the Falcons during training camp and the preseason.

Jensen, 6-6, 270 pounds, was originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as a college free agent following the 2014 NFL Draft out of Fresno State. He was a member of the Falcons practice squad for the first 11 weeks of the season.
