Injury Report:**
"Matt Bryant was a full participant, because he hasn't been practicing, then we have Roddy White, Stephen Nicholas and Asante Samuel were limited participants in practice today. It is a pretty clean report."
On being pleased with the injury report:
"Very pleased to get them back out on the field and working with us. They have not for quite some time, so we certainly hope there will not be any ill effects from what they did today. We hope to increase their snaps tomorrow. "
On the timing of picking up Jeremy Trueblood:
"It was just going through the evaluation process. We were working our roster, trying to get our roster down to 53. Then when we got to see who was available, we were very familiar with Jeremy having the opportunity to play against him in Tampa for all those years. You're going through a lot of evaluations on your own roster. They are pretty intense evaluations, after you make your evaluations that is when you spend time on looking at who is available."
On Jeremy Trueblood at practice:
"I haven't watched the tape; I was focused on some other things. I will go watch the tape here at the end of practice."
On what point in the game he would like to see the team settled in:
"From the opening kickoff, I certainly hope we are ready to go from the opening kickoff. Opening week there are a lot of unknowns. A lot of coaches have spent time vetting there assistants in terms of how we are going to put together our offense, defense and this will be our first opportunity to show it."
On the young corners getting their first test in the tough environment in New Orleans:
"It is going to be a big challenge for not only our young corners but for our entire defense. Drew Brees is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, two consecutive years of throwing the ball for over 5,000 yards. He is about as good as there is in the NFL. It will be a challenge, but I know our guys are looking forward to matching up with them. "
On changing up the offense because of Vilma and Smith being out:
"No. We've done a lot of work in the offseason in our preparation. They have a new defensive coordinator, so there will be a lot of unknowns with the 3-4 defense. We are going to have to go in there with our game plan and let our rules and block our rules against the fronts they are going to present. We really aren't going to know what they are going to do, because they haven't shown, just like we haven't shown, the things they are going to do in the regular season."
On talking to Coach Payton:
"I have not talked to Sean since training camp started. I had an opportunity to visit with Coach Payton at the owners meetings, which was the first time all the coaches were together for the 2013 season. "
On the effect it will have having Coach Payton back:
"Sean is a very good football coach. His record speaks for itself. He is one of the best play callers in the League right now. He is an important part. When you have your play caller back, we anticipate we are going to see some things different than what we've seen last year, when he wasn't there."
*On Roddy White: *
"He was limited in practice, yes. He was a limited participant today. We had an opportunity to work him in certain areas we wanted to take a look at. With all of our guys that were limited today, it's the hopes that they won't have any setbacks from their work load today, and we will be able to increase it tomorrow."
On talking with the team about the hostility between New Orleans:
"I have talked to them about how loud it is going to be in the Dome down there. That is probably the biggest concern we have, is being able to communicate on the offensive side of the ball. That is the big thing. We can't worry about the hostilities and that kind of stuff. It is a great rivalry and we just have to be able to communicate and handle the noise."
