FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Falcons rookie defensive back Damontae Kazee has proven thus far to be exactly the type of ball-hawk he was at San Diego State.
The fifth-round draft pick made a great one-handed interception on the second day of Falcons training camp, and he followed it up with another spectacular pick on Sunday. This one might even be better than the first.
Going against Joshua Perkins, the 5-foot-11, 174-pound Kazee got one hand on the ball and wrestled it away from the third-year tight end. Kazee had 15 interceptions in his final two years at San Diego State, and it's easy to see why.
