FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Saturday's training camp practice marked the first time the Falcons donned full pads, and the hits were plentiful.
It should come as no surprise that second-year safety Keanu Neal delivered one of the biggest blows of the afternoon. As a rookie, Neal developed a reputation for hard hits, and he continued that trend by laying out Pro Bowl running back Devonta Freeman.
When the pads come on, the cream begins to rise to the top. Clearly, Neal is one player who relishes the opportunity to go full speed.
