MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- It didn't take the Falcons' offense long to remind everyone why they were so feared last season. With new offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian calling the shot, Atlanta didn't miss a beat on its first drive against Miami.
After an impressive 39-yard punt return by Andre Roberts, Matt Ryan marched the Falcons down the field before finding Devonta Freeman on a bootleg pass for a 15-yard touchdown -- on a fourth-and-1 play.
Freeman signed a five-year contract extension on Wednesday, and he reminded everyone why he's so valuable to this offense.
