FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Falcons have signed kicker Mike Meyer to the practice squad as Matt Bryant is dealing with an undisclosed injury.
Head coach Dan Quinn said Bryant's injury during the Carolina game affected their strategy.
Atlanta signed Meyer to the practice squad earlier this season when Bryant was dealing with another injury. Meyer was with the team during the preseason and connected on 3-of-4 of his field goal attempts.
After his collegiate career at Iowa, Meyer signed with the Tennessee Titans in 2016.
In order to make room for Meyer on the practice squad, the Falcons have released quarterback Garrett Grayson.
