10 Best Defensive End Prospects
We continue to take a look at each of the position groups leading up to the NFL Draft. Today, we focus in on the best defensive end prospects available.

Sam Montgomery, LSU - Recorded eight sacks and 13 tackles for loss in 2012. Looks to be fully recovered from 2010 knee injury.

Margus Hunt, SMU - At 6-foot-8, Hunt makes an intriguing prospect. A former track star, the big question with Hunt is whether he's a football player or an athlete. Had a very strong Combine.

Alex Okafor, Texas - Recorded 12.5 sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss and had a strong Senior Bowl. Could be the most pro-ready.

Damontre Moore, Texas A&M - A model of consistency, Moore is a pass-rushing monster. He can play through pain, but had a sub-par Combine.

John Simon, Ohio State - One of the lesser known ends, Simon put a lot of pressure on opposing quarterbacks. A high-motor player, will remind you of Kroy Biermann.

Bjoern Werner, Florida State - His 13 sacks in 2012 came with extra attention from offensive lines. Didn't have a great Combine, but that's not an accurate measurement of his skills.

Corey Lemonier, Auburn - Strong and fast, Lemonier played 2012 through an ankle injury. He's likely a second-day pick, but could be great value then.

Tank Carradine, Florida State - Carradine (91) got a lot of work opposite Werner as Werner drew double teams. Carradine is coming off an ACL injury.

Datone Jones, UCLA - At 6-4, 280 pounds, Jones is a meaty prospect. He played defensive tackle at UCLA, but dominated at the Senior Bowl at end. Considered a tweener.

Ezekiel Ansah, BYU - Considered the cream of the defensive end crop this year, Ansah will likely be a top 5 pick. Raw, but a great motor and huge ceiling.
