Eight Players to Watch: Falcons vs. Lions
As the Atlanta Falcons take on the Detroit Lions in London at Wembley Stadium, keep your eyes on these eight players that could make all the difference.

LB Paul Worrilow got his first sack of the season against the Baltimore Ravens last weekend and the defense as a whole has shown improvements. Against the Ravens, the defense showed their ability to create pressure and had four quarterback hits during their Week 7 game.

DE George Johnson is one of the Detroit Lions defensive front that has been successful this season. Johnson leads the team in sacks with four and with 21 total sacks as a team, the Detroit Lions have shown their ability to bring pressure on defense.

With the Atlanta Falcons one and only touchdown of the game against the Baltimore Ravens, WR Roddy White broke the franchise record for receiving touchdowns with his 58th career touchdown. WR Roddy White has been a vital piece of the Falcons offense for years and getting him and WR Julio Jones involved in this week's game will be critical to get the offense started.

LB DeAndre Levy came out of nowhere last season. Levy has picked up where he left off last season leading the team in tackles with 49 and has shut down plays in their tracks.

CB Robert Alford may have had one of his best games of the season intercepting Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco twice during last Sunday's game. The Detroit Lions receivers have been highly effective thus far this season and with the possible return of WR Calvin Johnson, the secondary will have several players to keep their eyes on.

With a clutch interception during last week's game against the New Orleans Saints, Detroit Lions S Glover Quin has shown his ability to shift momentum. Quin leads the team in interceptions with three.

The offense has stumbled the past few games, and going against the top ranked defense with the least amount of yards allowed per game, QB Matt Ryan is facing another challenge. With the possible return of WR Harry Douglas, Ryan may have all his weapons during this week's game.

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford rallied his team to a comeback last week against the New Orleans Saints and with touchdowns to WR Golden Tate and Corey Fuller in the fourth quarter after throwing an interception, Stafford showed his ability to bounce back. With that last touchdown, Stafford put him in franchise history with his 118th touchdown tying the record by QB Bobby Layne.
