The Digital Media staff for the Atlanta Falcons meets every Monday morning to discuss potential storylines for the upcoming game. Here are the items the staff is looking to cover this week.

Since 2008, the Atlanta Falcons have compiled a 4-1 record against the NFC East at the Georgia Dome. The team is looking to make it 5-1 this Sunday as the Falcons take on the Washington Redskins.

The Washington Redskins have had their fair share of road woes this year, as they have only managed one victory on the road for the 2013 season.

Kirk Cousins replaced Robert Griffin III late in the Redskins' game last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Redskins have yet to announce a starting quarterback for this week's game, so the Falcons will have to prepare for multiple quarterbacks for the second week in a row.

Rookie safety Zeke Motta came in the game against the Packers last week after Thomas DeCoud went down with a head injury. Motta recorded four tackles on his opening series and could be in line for more playing time for the remainder of the season.

Rookie offensive lineman Ryan Schraeder took more than 70 percent of the snaps at right tackle last week against the Green Bay Packers. Schraeder could see his snap count increase even more if he continues to have success on the field.

Robert Alford took 100 percent of the snaps at left cornerback last week against the Packers and has solidified himself as one of the key members of the Falcons secondary.

The Washington Redskins special teams units gave up two return touchdowns last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. Could this be the week where Robert McClain breaks loose and finds the end zone?

Roddy White continues to improve each week as he had another impressive outing last Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

Tight end Tony Gonzalez continues to make his way towards football immortality. Gonzalez is only 54 yards shy of eclipsing the 15,000 receiving yard mark and could very well do it this week against the Redskins. When the two teams battled last season, Gonzalez recorded 13 catches for 123 yards, thus making the 54-yard mark seem miniscule.

Redskins linebacker Perry Riley recorded an interception last week against the Chiefs and will be a force that the Falcons will have to reckon with Sunday.

The Falcons have won the turnover battle the last two weeks and are looking to build off of that momentum heading into Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

The Falcons pass rush was able to generate 5 sacks last week against the Green Bay Packers. Could another multiple sack game be in store this week?

Steven Jackson has put together a strong three weeks, which has included three touchdowns, and he is hoping to add to this total Sunday.

The Falcons offensive line has been playing with a new sense of urgency since Joe Hawley took over at center and will look to continue to protect quarterback Matt Ryan throughout the rest of the season.

Alfred Morris may not be having the season like he did last year, but he is still capable of producing big plays and will need to be a major focus for the Falcons in this week's matchup against the Washington Redskins.
