Welcome back to football, NFL Fans!

The excitement of the game will be the same, but many aspects of a gameday experience in-stadium will reflect the new normal. Your health and safety, along with that of our players, coaches, and personnel, is – and always has been – priority number one.

To that end, each club is working together with state and local officials to determine whether their home stadium will be open to host fans in the 2020 season. The NFL is also working with all clubs to implement stadium protocols based on current public health recommendations, including from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), which are evolving as new information is available.

These new protocols are in place to help you feel confident, safe and comfortable when coming to our stadiums and enjoying a seamless experience – from the parking lot and turnstiles, to the concourses and ultimately, your seats.

However, like each player on a championship team, you play a key role. Because these protocols require everyone's cooperation and teamwork, we've set out these guidelines to help make this a championship season for all.

In addition to these guidelines, we strongly encourage that before heading to the stadium on gameday, you also visit the home team's website for more specific information and policies related to your attendance.

Know-Before-You-Go@2x

Know Before You Go

Here are the things you will need to know to attend a game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Physical Distancing

Physical Distancing

You are required to follow all six-foot physical distancing markers that will be displayed throughout common areas inside and outside stadiums. These markers will help you line up for security screening, restrooms, shops and concessions. Remember, we're in this together so please be respectful of other fans and their space.

Face Coverings

Face Coverings

Face coverings will be mandatory for anyone in-stadium (fans and staff) and must be worn at all times (other than while actively eating or drinking), including during security screening. Look at it as another way to rock your team's colors and be a good teammate – Because wearing a face covering not only helps to protect you but also other patrons.

Thanks to our partners at Emory Healthcare, for all Atlanta Falcons games this season team branded face coverings will be distributed to all fans in attendance.

Pod Seating

Pod Seating

Game tickets will be distributed in "pods" to support physical distancing between each group of ticketholders attending together, with the expectation that fans will be attending games with family members they have been sheltering with and/or with trusted acquaintances. These ticketing pods will be arranged six feet apart from the next seating pod (both in the same row and in front/behind the pod). For this reason, please make sure to sit in your assigned seat as stadiums will be blocking off unassigned seats as part of this effort.

Ingress and Egress

Ingress and Egress

We are reducing congestion when entering and exiting stadiums. This includes utilizing different entrances and exits for stadium staff and fans. Check your team's specific guidelines to see if there are designated entrances and exits that you should use and to see if your team will be assigning or staggering arrival and departure times. This will be your safest play and will help save you time.

Directional Signage

Directional Signage

Follow all posted signage to help maintain physical distancing. Check your team's specific guidelines to see if the use of staircases, elevators, and escalators are modified so that everyone flows in the same direction. Be smart and continue to abide by physical distancing markers that appear in elevators and on escalators.

First Aid

First Aid

If you're in the stadium and begin to feel ill, you should find help immediately. A dedicated isolation area will be available for any fan who begins to feel ill after entering the stadium. The stadium's onsite medical team will be fully prepared to treat you on-site and provide you with personal protective equipment (PPE), if necessary. If you feel ill at any point before leaving or on your way to the stadium, we ask that you please be a good teammate and stay home.

Proximity to Players and Each Other

Proximity to Players and Each Other

The first several rows of seats closest to the field will be closed off to support physical distancing between fans and players. Stadiums will also be blocking off seats to support physical distancing among fans. Please stick to your assigned seats and be sure to check your team's guidelines for more details.

PARKING + TAILGATING

PARKING + TAILGATING

Public parking is available in the Blue Lot, Lot M, Red Deck and Yellow Lot. Tailgating is only permitted in Lot M at this time. The use of space in between physically distanced vehicles is prohibited. Please maintain six feet (6') physical distance from other groups. Secure parking now on ParkMobile.

It's Game Time. Do Your Part.

In addition to following all guidelines listed above, the stadium and stadium staff will also be playing their part by implementing a few additional safety measures:
Enhanced Cleaning

Enhanced Cleaning

We're taking cleaning and disinfection to the next level. All "high touch" surfaces in stadium common areas will be cleaned before, during and after each game or stadium event. "High touch" surfaces include door handles, elevator buttons, handrails, sink handles, toilets, ATMs and other touch screens, turnstiles, vestibules, and water fountains.

Staff Temperature Checks

Staff Temperature Checks

All staff and stadium employees will have their temperature taken before entering the building. Any temperature above 100.4⁰F will be flagged, and that employee will be sent home.

Face Coverings and PPE

Face Coverings and PPE

Like fans, all staff and stadium employees will be required to wear a face covering inside the building. They will also be required to complete a short heath screening questionnaire before entering the stadium on gameday. For those staff who work in concessions or handle any "high touch" surfaces, gloves will also be required.

All ticketholders must agree that neither they, nor any of their guests, will attend a game if any one or more of the following is true on game day:

  • Within the prior 14 days, they have tested positive for, or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for, COVID-19;
  • Within the prior 48 hours, they have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4⁰F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the CDC);
  • Within the prior 14 days, they have travelled to any state or international territory identified by federal or applicable local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.

Please note: According to the CDC, older adults and people of any age with serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk of death or severe illness from COVID-19. All guests should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend a game.

To help maintain physical distancing guidelines, ticketholders must also agree that they will not sell, transfer or otherwise provide any of their game tickets to anyone other than family with whom they have been sheltering (or other trusted acquaintances), unless selling, transferring or otherwise providing all such tickets (i.e., the full pod of tickets) to one party.
