Matt Hennessy

FALCONS (2022)

• Appeared in 11 games (three starts) at guard.
• In Week 9 vs. L.A. Chargers, helped the offense rush for over 200 yards (201) for the third time through the first nine weeks of the season.
• Started each of the final two weeks of the season and blocked for an offense that rushed for over 300 yards in that span (132 yards in Week 17 vs. Arizona and 174 yards in Week 18 vs. Tampa Bay).

CAREER

• Has appeared in 40 games with 21 starts at center and guard since 2020.
• Started all 17 games at center for Atlanta in 2021.

COLLEGE

• Became a consistent starter for the team as a redshirt freshman in 2017 and remained a starter through the next two seasons, playing in 38 total games for the Owls. 
• 2019 - Midseason First Team All-Amercian (PFF), Midseason Second Team All-American.
• 2018 - American Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Parliament Spirit Award for Football by Temple Athletics, Temple Owl Club Academic Award, First Team All-ECAC, American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team, Athletic Director's Honor Roll .
• 2017 - ECAC First Team All-East, President's Honor Roll .
• 2016 - American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team, Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

• His older brother, Thomas Hennessy, plays for the New York Jets.
