Biography

COLLEGE

  • Played four seasons (2019-22) at Stanford (Calif.) University prior to transferring to the University of Texas in Austin, Texas for the 2023 season.
  • Sanbord played in 56 games and punted 232 times for 9,808 yards with a long of 68 yards. Downed 79 punts inside the 20. Also made 8-of-10 field goals while at Stanford.
  • Three-time Pac-12 All-Academic Honor Roll (2020-22).
  • Earned the Phil Moffatt Award (2019), which is given to the most outstanding special teams player.
  • As a super senior in 2023, he appeared in all 14 games, punting 40 times for 1,828 yards (45.7 avg.), the seventh-best single-season average in program history. Notched 15 punts of 50-plus yards and 15 punts inside the 20.
  • In 2022 at Stanford, he played in all 12 games and punted 57 times for 2,375 yards (41.7 avg.). Pinned 18 punts inside of the 20 and had nine punts of 50-plus yards with a long of 59 as a senior.
