The Falcons will host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football in Week 2. Since head coach Dan Quinn's arrival in Atlanta in 2015, the Falcons have played the Eagles each season. Atlanta is 1-3 against Philadelphia during that time. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. on Sept.15.
Atlanta's other prime-time game will also be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
For the second consecutive year, the Falcons will face their biggest NFC South rival on Thanksgiving night. This time, however, Atlanta hosts New Orleans. The Falcons lost the Saints 31-17 on Thanksgiving night in 2018. The Falcons lead the all-time series against the Saints, 52-48.
This will mark the fourth time the Falcons have played on Thanksgiving. They are currently 1-2 in Turkey Day games.
