Falcons sign CB Anthony Johnson

The Falcons are now at their 90-man roster limit for training camp. Their in the midst of Organized Team Activities, with Day 3 on tap Thursday.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons signed cornerback Anthony Johnson, the team announced Wednesday.

Johnson joined the NFL in 2023 as an undrafted free agent. He worked with the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints during last offseason but never made an active roster.

Johnson spent six seasons in the NCAA, playing for Louisville from 2018-20 and Virginia from 2021-22. It was with the Cavaliers that Johnson did his best collegiate work. In those two seasons, he made 60 tackles, 17 pass breakups and five interceptions through 22 games.

Johnson last checked in at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds.

The Falcons have now hit their 90-man roster limit for training camp.

Reminder: Defensive end Kenny Oginni has been designated as Atlanta's international player for 2024 and therefore does not count toward the total.

Day 3 of the Falcons' Organized Team Activities is Thursday. There are seven sessions left.
