ATLANTA — After working through a right hip injury throughout the latter part of Week 13's prep, Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo is active for Atlanta's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Koo was listed as questionable in Friday's game report after being limited in practice Thursday but full-go in practice Friday.
Head coach Raheem Morris said Friday that he expected the Falcons to be in a good spot with Koo heading into the weekend, and that the pick up and subsequent practice squad elevation of kicker Riley Patterson Saturday was for an "emergency" situation, if one were to arise. Because of Koo's active status, Patterson is inactive.
The Falcons had previously ruled out starting cornerback Mike Hughes at the end of the week. He is working through a neck injury. The expectation should be Clark Phillips III getting the start opposite A.J. Terrell.
As for other inactive news, inside linebackers JD Bertrand and Rashaan Evans were scratched from game day availability. Bertrand missed the Falcons' Week 11 game in Denver with a concussion. Despite being listed on this week's injury report, Bertrand was not given a game designation Friday.
The Falcons still have good depth at inside linebacker, though. Nate Landman (hamstring) and Troy Andersen (knee) are available after being cleared from their respective injuries. Atlanta also chose to elevate Josh Woods from the practice squad to fill out depth behind the starters.
Here is the full list of Falcons inactives for Week 13:
