Atlanta Falcons inactives for Week 9 vs. Dallas Cowboys

Falcons make decision on game status of ILB Troy Andersen and OG Chris Lindstrom.

ATLANTA — Despite being a limited participant in two of the three Falcons' practices of Week 9 (and a full participant Friday), inside linebacker Troy Andersen was listed on the team's inactives list prior to the start of their game against the Dallas Cowboys at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this Sunday. Andersen was originally listed as questionable on the team's Friday game report.

The Falcons have been without Andersen since he suffered a knee injury against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4. With fellow inside linebacker JD Bertrand out all week with a concussion, the Falcons signed Rashaan Evans to the 53-man roster Saturday to account for their lack of depth at inside linebacker behind starters Kaden Elliss and Nate Landman.

As for the other Falcons player who was listed as questionable Friday, starting right guard Chris Lindstrom is available to the team ahead of the Week 9 matchup.

Lindstrom left last Sunday's game in Tampa Bay with a knee injury. He initially told reporters in the postgame locker room that he'd be good to go for Week 9, with head coach Raheem Morris confirming the Falcons could have put Lindstrom back in last Sunday but chose not to out of precaution. He should return to the starting lineup as the Falcons play host to the Cowboys.

Here is the full list of the Falcons' Week 9 inactives:
