The Falcons will spend much of the coming weeks evaluating the current state of their roster and discussing how to improve heading into 2019. There is still a long road ahead before the 2019 NFL Draft and things will change a lot between now and then, but it's never too early to start thinking about who the Falcons might take with the No. 14 pick.

In his latest mock draft, CBS Sports' R.J. White believes the Falcons will bolster their defense in the first round by selecting Georgia cornerback Deandre Baker.
"Baker has experience playing in all types of coverages, and while he didn't post gaudy interception totals at Georgia, his ball skills are top-notch and he's a disruptive force for receivers trying to make a play," White writes. "The Falcons will be healthier next year on defense (how can they not be?) but the cornerback position is one that needs to be addressed after the team's awful numbers against the pass."
This year's draft class is considered to be full of defensive talent, especially in the early rounds, and Baker is one of the top cornerback prospects coming out. A shutdown corner at Georgia, the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Baker recorded 84 tackles, 18 pass defenses and five interceptions over his final two seasons.
