With this tweet early Thursday morning, Falcons Creative Services Manager Michael Benford commenced a four day journey that will see him, about a dozen other staff members and 20 Falcons Cheerleaders to the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico.
The entire Falcons contingent will be on a breakneck schedule between now and Sunday night capturing the striking images that will make up the 2010-2011 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader Swimsuit Calendar.
It marks the first time the Falcons cheer squad has created a calendar since 2002, when current Cheerleader Coordinator Chato Waters was a prominent member of the squad. We'll have much more details on the calendar, purchase information, a behind-the-scenes DVD and more in the coming weeks.
