FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — On Saturday, in preparation for Sunday's Week 16 game against the New York Giants, the Atlanta Falcons announced they signed wide receiver Chris Blair from the practice squad to the active roster, elevated wide receiver Dylan Drummond from the practice squad and released inside linebacker Rashaan Evans from the active roster.
The Falcons previously used the max of three practice squad elevations on Blair. So, in order for him to play again, they had to sign him to the active roster.
Blair only appeared in one of those games, taking six special teams snap in the Falcons' Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Meanwhile, this marks Drummond's first elevation.
As for Evans, he appeared in the Falcons' Week 9 win against the Dallas Cowboys and Week 11 loss to the Denver Broncos, taking one defensive and five special teams snap between the two games.
None of these players have recorded any 2024 stats beyond their snap counts.
The Falcons-Giants game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium. FOX will carry live coverage.
