RB Tevin Coleman strained his hamstring in Sunday's loss to the Chargers, head coach Dan Quinn confirmed on Monday.
Coleman's status remains unclear as the Falcons are waiting to find out the severity of the strain.
If Coleman's injury is serious enough to the point that he need to miss some time, Quinn says they are confident in Terron Ward who is currently on Atlanta's practice squad.
"Fortunately for us, [Terron] Ward is here," Quinn said. "He's someone that we can totally rely on. We'll see as Tev goes through the next couple of days, if that has to happen, likely it would be in house if we needed too."
