FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons signed wide receivers Daylen Baldwin and OJ Hiliare, the organization announced Tuesday. In a corresponding move, the Falcons released tight end Tucker Fisk.
Baldwin is coming off a short stint with the Minnesota Vikings in 2023. He signed just before Thanksgiving in November but was released a few weeks later on Dec. 12. Though he signed a reserve/future contract with the Vikings after the 2023 season, he was waived earlier this month.
Baldwin got his start in the league with the Cleveland Browns, holding a spot on their practice squad through the 2022 season. He was active there for one game, catching his two targets for 25 yards.
Baldwin made multiple stops while playing college football, namely at Morgan State (2017-18), Jackson State (2019-20) and Michigan (2021).
In his lone season with Michigan, Baldwin appeared in all 14 games, making five starts. He caught 17 passes for 256 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Prior to Michigan, Baldwin had a combined stat line of 28 career games with 57 catches for 873 yards and nine touchdowns at Morgan State and Jackson State.
Hiliare, meanwhile, is an undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green this year. He spent the 2022-23 seasons there, playing in 26 games total with 18 starts. In 2022, he recorded 58 receptions for 747 yards and six touchdowns. Then, in 2023, he had 45 receptions for 532 yards and four touchdown.
Before Bowling Green, Hiliare played for Alabama A&M for three years. In 22 career games, he caught 103 passes for 1,365 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Fisk has been with the Falcons since 2022, first with the practice squad. In 2023, he was elevated to the active roster multiple times, playing in six games and making two starts. He caught his lone target for nine yards in the Falcons' Week 15 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
