- Alabama CB Dee Milliner on his thoughts on being the top-rated corner in the draft: "Yeah, very much. You've always got to have confidence in the plays that you can make, your ability that you have. I feel like I am the best DB in all of this. No offense to all them other DB's, just I believe in what I can do and all the plays that I can make."
- Florida State CB Xavier Rhodes on his strengths as a corner: My strength is my size and my physicality. Speed, height. People say I'm not a typical corner, basically. My weaknesses are like any other corner. Just need to work on my technique. You can't perfect corner. It's a hard position to play so I'm just going to work on my technique."
- Washington CB Desmond Trufant on how Washington prepared him for the NFL: "This year we had a whole defensive coaching change. Justin Wilcox was our defensive coordinator. We did a lot of man to man. And I feel like I'm a man-to-man corner. I can play zone as well, but I feel man is my strength. In the league you've got to be able to man up. The receivers are great. You've got to be able to read and react, and be out there on that island. And it's definitely helped me being at UW."
- N.C. State CB David Amerson on speculation that he may switch to safety: "I hear it here and there. I know that me personally, being a safety in high school, I don't have a problem with it. I just see myself as a playmaker in the secondary wherever."
- LSU CB Tyrann Mathieu on who in the NFL he draws comparisons to: ""I don't truly compare myself to any guys in the NFL right now. I think I have a different kind of game. But somewhere between Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu."
- Florida International S John Cyprien on covering receivers out of the slot: "Yes, I have, but I usually played dime, though. Game-planning with specific teams, depending on what the coaches wanted to do, we would game-plan on how we wanted to cover specific teams. .. [against] some spread teams when we needed extra defensive backs on the field."
- Florida S Matt Elam on his strengths: "My physicality. I play very hard. I love the strike people. I feel that what help me stand out the most and I'm very versatile. I can cover the slot receivers, I can go down and cover, I can go in the box and tackle. I feel like I'm very versatile, I can play in the post. I feel like that what make me stand out the most."
- UGA S Bacarri Rambo on if he's a cover safety or a hitter: "A cover. The past couple years I had a lot of interceptions. I didn't have too many big hits. So I consider myself as a cover safety."
