Falcons' 2012 Opponents Announced

The Falcons have announced their home and away opponents for the 2012 season.

The official 2012 schedule, with playing dates and times, will be announced in the spring. NFL Kickoff 2012 Weekend will begin on Thursday night, September 6, and the regular season will conclude on December 30. Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana will be played on Sunday, February 3.

In addition to NFC South opponents, Atlanta's intraconference games will be against the teams in the NFC East and the interconference games will match them against the AFC West.

The Falcons' home and away opponents for next season:

Home:Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders

Away:Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers
