After serving his three years in the Army, Collin Mooney's NFL career started in Tennessee and the latest chapter will begin in Atlanta as he was signed by the Falcons on Monday
The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed fullback Collin Mooney.
Mooney, 5-10, 238 pounds, was originally signed by the Tennessee Titans as a college free agent following the 2012 NFL Draft out of the U.S. Military Academy. He spent three seasons with the Titans, seeing time on the practice squad and active roster.
Mooney graduated from West Point and signed with the Titans after spending the previous three years fulfilling his commitment to the U.S. Army. He was commissioned in the field artillery branch of the U.S. Army. Mooney set a school record with 1,339 rushing yards during his senior season with the Black Knights.
