The Atlanta Falcons today signed tight end Tommy Gallarda to the practice squad.
Gallarda, 6-5, 262 pounds, was originally signed as a college free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2011. He was a four-year letterman at Boise State University, where he totaled 25 receptions for 257 yards and nine touchdowns. As a senior, Gallarda played in seven games for the Broncos posting seven catches for 63 yards and three scores before missing the final seven games with an injury.
He was previously signed to the Falcons practice squad on September 15, 2011 and later waived on November 29, 2011.
