FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Atlanta Falcons announced on Monday that they've agreed to terms with free safety Ricardo Allen on a three-year contract extension.
Allen, 26, was drafted in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft and has become a reliable safety for the Falcons after initially beginning his career as a cornerback. Allen has started 45 games over his four seasons with the Falcons, registering 212 tackles, 10 pass defenses and six interceptions.
