The Atlanta Falcons recently communicated the 2011 season ticket renewal process, prices and payment plan options to season-ticket holders.
Season-ticket holders will receive their renewal packages in early January. The renewal packages will include information regarding season-ticket holder benefits, the chance to win hundreds of prizes by renewing early and the opportunity to add seats to their account prior to tickets becoming available to the general public.
In a letter to season ticket holders announcing the club's 2011 pricing structure, team president Rich McKay thanked Falcons fans for their tremendous support.
"On behalf of the entire Atlanta Falcons organization, I want to thank you for creating a phenomenal home field advantage this season," he said. "Your passion and devotion has been noticed by our players, coaches, staff and our local and national media."
In presenting season ticket prices set for the 2011 season, McKay said, "Our objective was to be sensitive to the current economy even as we considered an expected increase in demand next year due to the team's continued success."
Season ticket prices will increase an average of 2 percent with no season ticket in the Georgia Dome increasing more than 3 percent for those who renew their tickets before Feb. 11, 2011.
Season ticket holders can choose from a number of flexible payment options:
Five monthly automatic interest-free payments beginning in February 2011. * Self-managed payments through June 1, 2011, following an initial 40 percent payment. * Two installments – 40 percent by Feb. 11, 2011, and a final payment on June 1, 2011. * Pay in full at renewal.
Renewals may be completed online www.myfalconstickets.com or by mail or telephone (404) 223-8000.
Among the benefits to season-ticket holders is access to personal customer service representatives who are available throughout the year to answer questions, handle gameday requests and manage season-ticket holder accounts. In addition, Falcons season-ticket holders will have first access to parking options, hospitality add-ons and other gameday benefits.
In the event of an NFL work stoppage in 2011, the Falcons will offer refunds, plus 1 percent interest, for all preseason and regular season games that are cancelled. The refunds apply to all accounts paid in full by the renewal deadline.
