The Atlanta Falcons are pleased to announce the introduction of new fan enhancements at the Georgia Dome for the 2012 season, beginning with the home opener on Monday Night Football against the Denver Broncos.

"We are excited to kick off our 2012 season home schedule and unveil our new and improved fan experience enhancements at our home opener against Denver on Monday Night Football," said Falcons Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Jim Smith. "We think our fans will really enjoy the features that we've added to enhance their game-day experience. From the tailgates to Falcons Landing to the way they see the game, everything has been tailored for our fans' enjoyment."

Prior to kickoff, fans will see the McDonalds tailgate team roaming the parking lots and tailgating areas with coupons and other giveaways, while State Farm Falcons Landing will continue to serve as the pregame epicenter for Falcons fans before they enter the Georgia Dome. Falcons Landing opens to fans two hours prior to kickoff and will feature Falcons cheerleaders signing autographs, interactive games, and the Atlanta Falcons Drumline.

Fans making their way into the Georgia Dome will experience heightened security screening procedures prior to entering the building. The Falcons have implemented queue lines to better assist with this process, and will be entertained along the way with Falcons highlight videos, trivia, and visits from the Ford Fan Patrol.

After reaching their seats, fans will see the Ford Fan Patrol with giveaways and prizes throughout the stadium, the Equifax t-shirt parachute drop, pregame trivia, name scrabble, NFL highlight reels, and live DJ entertainment. During the game, fans will also have the ability to text and tweet music requests directly to the Dome, and now see instant replay challenges and reviewed plays from the same angles as the on-field officials via monitors throughout the Dome. Falcons fans can also join in live social media conversations and updates via free WiFi throughout the stadium.
