The Falcons return to the Georgia Dome to kickoff the 2009 season Saturday, Aug. 29 when the San Diego Chargers come to town for a nationally-televised preseason matchup. Atlanta is 1-1 in the preseason and the team's first-string offense and defense is expected to get extensive playing time in the game.
The Falcons will wear red jerseys for the game.

Alexis Hart
Alexis Hart is a 17-year old Senior at Flowery Branch High School. She has had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at many sporting events such High School basketball games, wrestling matches and also at the Lanier Speedway. Singing the National Anthem has also won her the title of Miss Junior Flowery Branch Talent Winner. When she's not singing, Alexis enjoys spending her time working, attending church, or playing with her puppy, Audrey. She is very excited to sing the National Anthem for her favorite hometown football team.
Color Guard
Riverside Military Academy Color Guard
Riverside Military Academy is Georgia's premier college preparatory academy for young men in grades 7-12. Established in 1907, Riverside seeks to prepare young men for success in leading colleges, universities and military service academies. The Class of 2009 earned over $3.1 million in collegiate scholarships and our 68 graduates were accepted to over 108 colleges and universities. Today, the pride of Riverside Military Academy, Riverside's Color Guard, represents our academy and the guests of the Georgia Dome with the presentation of colors. Members of Riverside Military Academy's Color Guard are the leaders among campus leaders, which promote pride, citizenship and respect through the display of the colors. This group of outstanding young men represent the academy at many local and national community events including the upcoming Atlanta Veterans Day Parade, which will be held on November 7, 2009 in downtown Atlanta.
