FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons continue their prep for a Monday Night Football showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles. For the second day in a row, that on-field prep work did not include Nate Landman.
Landman has been working through a quad injury that he sustained in the latter weeks of the preseason. He missed a couple practices in the lead up to Week 1 prep. Though he was initially limited during practices last week, he ended the week as a full participant and was cleared to play in Sunday's home opener. He played in 54% of the Falcons defensive snaps that afternoon.
Since Week 2 began, though, Landman has not practiced with the team. He is also now listed in the injury report this week as having a calf and quad injury.
Meanwhile, offensive tackle Kaleb McGary was limited with a groin injury for the second day in a row.
Joining McGary with a limited practice designation was cornerback Antonio Hamilton Sr. (groin) and running back Jase McClellan (knee).
This is the first day Hamilton was active in his participation since sustaining a groin injury late last week. He was ruled out of last Sunday's game when the Falcons' game report came out last Friday. Like Landman, Hamilton did not participate in Thursday's practice.
