The Atlanta Falcons will have starting cornerback Desmond Trufant back on the field for the first time since Week 5 when they face the Carolina Panthers this weekend. Trufant has been sidelined due to a toe injury, but after two weeks of practicing in a limited capacity he is officially good to go for Sunday's game.
While they will have Trufant back, the Falcons will be down two starters on the offensive side. Running back Devonta Freeman and tight end Austin Hooper have been ruled out after sustaining injuries in the team's victory against the Saints that kept them out of practice all week. The Falcons will also be without safety Kemal Ishmael, who has been held out of practice due to a concussion. Those are the only three players who have been ruled out for Sunday, meaning Matt Ryan should be good to go.
