FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Falcons will be lacking a couple pieces of depth in the secondary when the team travels up to Washington to face the Commanders this Sunday night.
After not participating in practice all week, defensive backs Kevin King (concussion) and Antonio Hamilton Sr. (quad) have been ruled out of the Week 17 match up.
Outside of those two defenders, however, the Falcons have a clean bill of health on the other side of the ball, with no offensive player receiving a game designation. This includes wide receiver Drake London, who was listed on the injury report this week with a knee injury.
London left last Sunday's win against the Giants with a hamstring injury. Raheem Morris said after the game last weekend that London could have come back in the game, but because of the significant lead Atlanta had over New York, his presence was not necessary. As for the knee injury, London told reporters in the locker room this week that it was a non-issue for Sunday's game and that he would be ready to roll come kickoff at 8:20 p.m. ET at Northwest Stadium.
